York University’s Las Nubes coffee, the “Coffee with a Conscience”, arrived at Timothy’s World Coffee stores across Canada this week. Coffee drinkers looking for a quality brew that supports the farmer, the environment and bio-diversity will now be able to respect the “triple bottom line” right to the bottom of their cup.York launched the coffee in March and Timothy’s began shipping freshly roasted Las Nubes coffee from its head office and roasting facility, located not far from the University’s Keele campus, to its more than 140 stores at the beginning of April. Timothy’s is donating $1 for every pound sold to the Fisher Fund for Neotropical Conservation through the York University Foundation.
