Christopher Street Coffeehouse, established in 2009, is a project sponsored by St. John’s Lutheran Church. Concerts and events are held in the resonant sanctuary of historic St. John’s in the heart of New York’s Greenwich Village. Christopher Street Coffeehouse hosts a number of events each month: Village Roots Concert Series every first Thursday; Open Mic Night with Tim Skehan every second Thursday; Pete Seeger Song Circle every second Friday; Songwriters' Beat with Valerie Ghent every third Thursday; Open Mic Night with Carolann Solebello every fourth Thursday; plus other special events.
